· How we write these guides

The short answer

Depending on the agency, Singapore price guides put a small company website between about S$1,500 and S$10,000, an online store between about S$5,000 and S$40,000, and a custom web application from about S$15,000. The price depends mostly on how many page layouts need designing, who writes the content and what the site connects to. Every year you also pay for a domain, hosting and email. Our prices for a business website, a landing page, a WordPress site and monthly maintenance are linked below.

Typical prices by type of site

Type of siteTypical Singapore price in agency guides
Small company websiteAbout S$1,500 to S$10,000
Online storeAbout S$5,000 to S$40,000
Custom web applicationFrom about S$15,000

What changes the price

Page layouts matter more than page count. Ten pages that share two layouts cost less to build than five pages that each need their own design.

Content takes time. If you supply final text and photos, the project is mostly design and building. Writing, photography and translation add work, and each extra language is a full copy of every page.

Features and connections change the category. A contact form and a WhatsApp link are standard. Bookings, payments, customer accounts or a link to your accounting or stock system turn a website into software and are priced separately.

Search setup is part of a good build: page titles, a sitemap and Search Console. Ongoing SEO, keyword research and articles are separate work.

Running costs after launch

Agency guides put a domain at about S$15 to S$50 a year and hosting at about S$120 to S$600 a year for a small business site. Check that a free hosting plan allows commercial use; many do not.

A .com.sg domain is for businesses registered, or registering, with ACRA, Enterprise Singapore or a Singapore professional body. A company outside Singapore can apply by appointing a local agent as its administrative contact. The administrative contact verifies their identity with Singpass or Corppass.

Business email is a monthly fee per person: Google Workspace Business Starter is S$9.40 per user on the flexible plan, and Microsoft 365 Business Basic is US$7.00 per user on a yearly plan, both before GST.

Maintenance covers updates, security fixes and small changes. Studios sell it as a monthly plan or by the hour; ask exactly what is included before you compare quotes.

Can a grant pay for it?

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) stopped on 29 September 2026. Enterprise Singapore now directs businesses to the EDGE Grant.

Enterprise Singapore's EDGE pages do not say that a website qualifies, and support levels differ by activity. Confirm with Enterprise Singapore before planning around a grant. None of our packages has been approved for grant funding.

How to compare quotes

Ask every studio the same questions: how many page layouts are designed, who supplies the content, how many revision rounds are included, what happens after launch, and who owns the domain, hosting account and code.

A low build price with a required monthly plan can cost more over two years than a higher one-off price. Add up the first two years before you choose.

Questions buyers ask

How much does a simple website cost in Singapore?

Depending on the agency, between about S$1,500 and S$10,000 for a small company website. Fixed-price packages for a few pages can start lower when you supply the text and photos and the design adapts a tested layout.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Most studios offer a monthly plan for updates and fixes, or charge by the hour. The domain, hosting and email are paid separately to their providers.

Is the PSG grant still available for websites?

No. PSG closed on 29 September 2026. Enterprise Singapore's pages for its replacement, the EDGE Grant, do not list websites, so confirm eligibility with Enterprise Singapore first.

Who should own the domain and hosting account?

Your business should. Register the domain and hosting in the company's name and give your developer access, so you keep the site if you change providers.
