How we write our guides

Who writes and reviews each guide, where its facts come from, how dates work and how to report a mistake.

Who writes and reviews

Each guide names its author and a second person who reviewed it before publication. Today Archer Yu, our founder, writes the guides and Syafiq, our co-founder, reviews them.

We use software, including AI tools, to research, draft and translate. The named author and reviewer approve every guide before it is published and are responsible for what it says.

Where the facts come from

Prices for our own work come from our published price list. Third-party prices and rules come from the provider's own pages, such as Shopify, Microsoft, Google, Meta and Enterprise Singapore.

Every guide lists its sources and the date we checked each one. If we cannot open a source, we leave that fact out rather than guess.

What we do not publish

We do not publish testimonials, project outcomes or statistics we cannot support. The demonstrations on this site use fictional records and are labelled as examples.

We do not say that a service qualifies for a government grant unless the agency's own pages say so.

Dates and reviews

The date shown as “Updated” is the last time someone reviewed the guide's content. We change it only when the content changes.

We review each guide on a schedule, normally every six months and sooner for fees that change often.

Languages

Guides are written in English and published in Simplified Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia as well. Prices stay in Singapore dollars, and facts that apply only in Singapore are labelled.
