Wholesale website design in Singapore
Let trade customers order from their price list, meet minimum quantities and reorder from current stock.
A typical workflow
- Customer signs in to their price list
- Order stock or request a quote
- Staff check credit and stock
- Invoice raised in the accounting software
What this sector needs
Each SKU needs its selling unit, pack or carton size, minimum order quantity and specifications as separate fields, so search, filters and MOQ checks work. Duplicate and discontinued SKUs are cleaned up before import.
Trade prices sit behind sign-in. Each account carries its own price list or discount, payment terms and credit limit, and the order screen shows that customer's price, not a general list price they don't pay.
Orders below the MOQ, above available stock or for items outside the catalogue become quote requests. Sales replies with a price and validity date, and an accepted quote becomes an order without retyping.
Buyers reorder from past invoices or saved lists, and staff can see which regular customers haven't ordered this week. Substitutes for out-of-stock items need the customer's approval before dispatch.
One system holds the stock count and one holds invoices and customer balances. The portal reads from them and writes orders back, and a daily check flags any order that didn't reach the accounting software.
In Singapore, GST-registered businesses must submit invoice data to IRAS through InvoiceNow-Ready Solutions. Businesses registering voluntarily are already covered, and existing registrants join in phases by annual supplies, from 1 April 2028 to 1 April 2031. Portal invoices should pass through accounting software or an Access Point that handles this; Ceus is not an Access Point.

Which existing tools can it connect to?
- Xero or QuickBooks for invoices and customer balances
- Stock spreadsheet or warehouse system
- InvoiceNow-ready accounting software or an Access Point
- WhatsApp and email order confirmations
What needs a separate scope?
Live stock across several warehouses, tiered or contract pricing, credit-limit holds, sales reps ordering for customers and moving a catalogue off an old system need more scoping.
Can customers still order by WhatsApp?
Yes. Staff enter a WhatsApp or phone order in the same portal on the customer's behalf, so it gets the same prices, MOQ checks and invoice as an order the customer places online.
Does the ordering portal handle InvoiceNow for us?
Not by itself. The portal passes each order to your accounting software, and that software or an accredited Access Point submits the invoice data to IRAS. We check that connection when we scope the work.
Can the same site sell to retail customers?
It can, but trade and retail buyers usually need different prices, checkout and payment terms. One common set-up keeps trade ordering behind sign-in and runs a separate retail shop, for example on Shopify, from the same product data.
