Manufacturing website design in Singapore

Show your capabilities, certificates and specification sheets, and let customers attach drawings to a quotation request.

A typical workflow

  1. Buyer checks capabilities and certificates
  2. RFQ submitted with drawings
  3. Engineer reviews drawing and specifications
  4. Quote sent with the RFQ reference

What this sector needs

  • Capability pages list processes, machines, materials, tolerances and maximum part size as fields your engineers fill in, so buyers can check fit before they send an RFQ.

  • Certificates appear only if your firm holds them, with the issuing body, scope, certificate number and expiry date. An expired certificate comes off the page until the renewed one is uploaded.

  • Spec sheets and datasheets carry a revision number and date, and only the current revision stays public, so sales staff don't send out an older PDF.

  • The RFQ form asks for material, quantity per batch, finish, target delivery date and drawing files in the formats you accept, for example PDF, STEP, DXF or DWG. You set the size limit per file, and larger assemblies go through an upload link instead of email.

  • Uploaded drawings go to private storage rather than email attachments. Only staff you name can open them, download links expire, and you decide how long drawings from unsuccessful RFQs are kept. The form can show your confidentiality terms before upload.

  • Distributor and partner enquiries have their own form, asking for country, company type and the product lines they want to carry, and go to the person who handles partners rather than the RFQ queue.

Which existing tools can it connect to?
  • Private storage for drawings, such as Google Drive, SharePoint or Amazon S3
  • Your CRM or a Google Sheet for tracking RFQs
  • Email alerts to the estimating team
  • ERP or quotation software that accepts imports or an API
What needs a separate scope?

A customer portal for RFQ status and drawing revisions, NDA sign-off before upload, product catalogues in several languages and ERP connections need more requirements and review.

How large can uploaded drawing files be?

You set the limit. Most PDFs and single-part STEP files fit a normal upload, while large assemblies are better sent through an expiring upload link so the form doesn't fail on a slow connection.

Who can see the drawings buyers upload?

Only the staff you name. Files sit in a private storage account under your control, and the links your team uses to download them expire.

Can we mention a certification we're still working towards?

We'd leave it off until the certificate is issued. The certificate section lists only certificates you hold, with numbers and expiry dates that buyers can check with the issuing body.
