Tuition centre website design in Singapore

Websites, trial-class requests and parent portals for tuition and enrichment centres, organised by subject, level, branch and class slot.

A typical workflow

  1. Parent chooses subject and level
  2. Trial requested for a class slot
  3. Admin confirms space and enrols
  4. Make-ups and fees tracked per term

What this sector needs

  • Trial-class forms ask for the child's level and subject, the preferred branch and slot, and one parent contact, so admin can check class size before confirming.

  • Make-up lessons follow the centre's own rules: how much notice a parent must give, how many make-ups a term allows and which classes count as equivalent. The system offers only slots that meet those rules and still have space.

  • Photos and videos of children go on the website or social media only with a parent's recorded permission. The record notes where they may be used, and when permission is withdrawn the images come down.

  • A parent portal shows each parent only their own children's lessons, invoices and teacher notes. Teachers see their own classes and admin sees the whole centre. Parents sign in with an email address or mobile number, not an NRIC number.

  • In Singapore, ECDA licenses preschools. If a centre runs programmes for young children, ECDA's answer on enrichment centres points to the programmes exempted under the Early Childhood Development Centres Act, so the centre should confirm its position with ECDA. The website then describes the classes to match that position.

Which existing tools can it connect to?
  • WhatsApp Business for trial confirmations and reminders
  • Google Sheets or your current student management system
  • Invoices or payment links for term fees
  • Parent, teacher and admin sign-in
What needs a separate scope?

A parent portal with make-up booking, term invoicing, teacher attendance marking and progress reports needs its own scope and a review of what children's data it holds.

Have you built a tuition centre website before?

Yes, for a related business: the Ancourage Academy website, a tuition and art school built and run by the same team. It isn't a client project. The site records which pages, searches and AI assistants bring visitors, and checks run before every release.

Can the website work with the student management system we already use?

If that system has an API or reliable exports, trial requests and enrolments can go into it. We check what it allows before quoting. If it allows neither, requests reach admin and are entered once by hand.

Do we need a parent portal from the start?

No. Most centres can start with the website and trial-class requests, then add make-up booking and invoices once the class schedule and make-up rules are settled.
