Course booking system for training providers in Singapore
Course websites for training providers, with class runs and seat limits, online booking, attendance and certificates issued from those records.
A typical workflow
- Learner books a class run
- Seat confirmed or waitlisted
- Attendance marked each session
- Certificate issued to eligible learners
What this sector needs
A course (title, outcomes, duration, fee, prerequisites) is stored separately from its class runs (dates, venue or online link, trainer, seat limit). Learners book a run, and the course page lists every upcoming run.
Each run has a seat limit. Bookings past the limit join a waitlist, and when someone cancels, the next person is offered the seat with a deadline to accept.
Company bookings name each learner separately from the person paying, so attendance and certificates go to the learner while invoices go to the company contact.
Trainers mark attendance for each session on a phone or tablet, and the minimum attendance you set for the course decides who can receive a certificate.
Certificates are generated from your template with a unique number. A verification page lets an employer enter that number and see only the learner's name, course and completion date.
TPGateway's FAQ says most providers of SSG-funded courses must use a training management system that connects to TPGateway, with some exceptions it lists. Ceus doesn't build that connection, so for SSG-funded runs the website lists the course and links to the system you already use for enrolment.

Which existing tools can it connect to?
- Card and PayNow payments through Stripe
- Google Calendar or Outlook for trainer schedules
- Zoom or Microsoft Teams links for online runs
- Email for confirmations, reminders and certificates
What needs a separate scope?
Corporate accounts with credit terms, assessments, a learner portal, links to an existing training management system and courses in several languages need more requirements and review.
Can the booking system handle our SSG-funded courses?
Not the funding side. Most funded runs need a training management system linked to TPGateway (TPGateway lists the exceptions), and we don't build that link. The website can list funded courses and send learners to your existing system to enrol.
How long should we keep learner records?
That's your decision, based on what you still need them for, such as reissuing a certificate. The system can hold attendance and certificate records for the period you set and flag them for review when it ends.
Would ready-made class booking software be enough?
Often, if you run public classes with one price and simple seat limits. A custom build is worth it when company bookings, attendance rules and certificates need to work from one record that packaged tools keep apart.
