Gym website design in Singapore
Class booking websites for gyms and studios, with live timetables, capacity, waitlists, credits and membership rules applied at booking.
A typical workflow
- Member checks the timetable and open spots
- Booking uses a credit or membership
- Waitlist moves up when someone cancels
- Check-in at the studio records attendance
What this sector needs
Each class needs a capacity tied to its room or equipment, a waitlist, and a cut-off after which waitlisted members are no longer moved in automatically. A member moved off the waitlist gets a message, and the credit is taken only then.
Class packs, unlimited memberships and intro offers each need written rules: which classes they cover, how many credits a class costs, when credits expire and whether peak times cost more.
A freeze needs a start and end date, a reason such as travel or injury and a yearly limit, and billing pauses with it. Before a member confirms a cancellation, the screen shows the notice period and the last billing date.
Late cancellations and no-shows lose a credit or incur a fee only under the rule shown at booking. The rule applies the same way to every member, and staff can waive it with a record of who did.
For consumers, a 'free' trial should show its conditions next to the offer, and the CCS price transparency guidelines encourage a reminder before a trial turns into paid membership, with the fee and how to cancel. Mandatory joining or admin fees belong in the advertised price.

Which existing tools can it connect to?
- Stripe for recurring membership payments
- Existing membership software, where it offers an API
- Door access or QR check-in at the front desk
- WhatsApp or email class reminders
What needs a separate scope?
Several outlets, instructor pay per class, door-access hardware, personal-training schedules or moving members off an existing platform are scoped after we see your current set-up.
Is membership software enough, or do we need a custom system?
For many single studios, membership software is enough, and we build the website around its booking widget. A custom system is worth it when your credit rules, equipment allocation or multi-outlet set-up don't fit what the software allows.
Can members move over from our current platform without signing up again?
Usually, if the platform can export members, active packs and remaining credits. Card details normally stay with the payment provider, so members may need to add their card again. We check the export before quoting.
Can instructors see and manage their own classes?
Yes. Instructors sign in to see their class lists, mark attendance and ask for a cover. Timetable changes and member credits stay with managers unless you decide otherwise.
