What should become easier.
The issue usually appears before the brief.
- Good enquiries are lost inside an inbox or a personal chat thread.
- Qualification depends on whoever happens to reply first.
- Follow-up happens when someone remembers, not when it matters.
- The CRM is out of date because updating it feels like a second job.
What changes
- A named person for each enquiry
- Customer needs recorded before the call
- A visible next step and due date
- Up-to-date customer records
The practical details.
What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.
How the work can move.
- Customer makes an enquiry
- Their needs and timing are recorded
- The team checks whether it can help
- A salesperson is assigned
- Reminders are set and records updated
An example in practice
A prospect submits the website form on Friday evening. The system asks the two or three questions your salespeople would ask anyway, structures the answers, creates the record and assigns an owner. On Monday that salesperson opens a lead with requirement, scale and timing already captured — and a follow-up reminder already set.
How far can we take it?
A starting point
An intake flow capturing requirement, timing and contact details; a lead register with owner, stage and next action; and reminders that stop when the lead replies or closes.
Additional work to consider
Preparing quotations, coordinating several sales teams, checking which campaigns bring enquiries or connecting more sales tools.
What can it connect to?
- Website forms and chat
- An existing CRM, or a structured lead record built for you
- Calendars and reminders
- Sales team notifications
We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.
Will automation replace the salesperson?
It should remove preventable delay and administration. Judgment, negotiation and relationship work remain human responsibilities.
Do we need customer management software already?
No. We can connect your existing customer management system, often called a CRM, or build a simple customer list with notes, owners and follow-up dates.
How is this different from customer service automation?
Customer service helps someone get an answer or resolve a problem. Sales follow-up helps your team understand what a potential buyer needs and arrange the next conversation.
Start with the problem.
