What should become easier.

The issue usually appears before the brief.

  • The site could be swapped with a competitor's and few people would notice.
  • The brand story and the path to purchase are two separate experiences.
  • The commerce platform works; its default theme is what is holding you back.
  • A launch explains the features but never makes the value felt.

What changes

  • A shop designed around your products
  • Clear steps to buy or book
  • Connected stock and order records
  • Product information, photos and video in one place

The practical details.

What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.

How the work can move.
  1. Agree what customers need to do
  2. Plan the product pages and ordering steps
  3. Build the website and content editing
  4. Connect orders, payments or bookings
  5. Check the full customer journey
An example in practice

A food brand sells through Shopify, and the theme limits how the products can be presented. Ceus keeps Shopify running products, inventory, orders and checkout, and replaces the theme layer with a custom storefront: art-directed product pages, editorial content and film in the same flow as the buying path. Nothing changes about how orders are processed.

How far can we take it?

A starting point

A custom customer journey with the required content pages and one working purchase, reservation or enquiry path. Agree who edits content, which backend owns transactions and what confirmation the visitor receives.

Additional work to consider

Complex catalogues, multi-market commerce, custom fulfilment logic, extensive migration or a larger campaign and content system.

What can it connect to?
  • Shopify products, inventory, orders and checkout
  • Website content editing, including Google Docs
  • Booking and reservation flows
  • Film, motion and product media
  • Analytics and marketing tools

We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.

Do you replace Shopify?

Not when Shopify is the right commerce engine. Ceus can keep its product, inventory, order and checkout capabilities while replacing the generic theme layer.

Can film and motion be part of the website project?

Yes. Moving image is most useful when it explains the product or carries the brand idea, and is planned with the interface rather than pasted in later.
