A clearer operating result.

Useful when the operation needs more than another tool.

  • Customers cannot narrow a large list to the right product.
  • Sizes, finishes or pack options are hard to compare.
  • The cart does not explain unavailable items or quantity changes.

What changes

  • Filters reflect how customers choose
  • Variant selection is explicit
  • Cart changes receive clear feedback

The practical details.

What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.

How this foundation works.
  1. Browse or filter the catalogue
  2. Choose an available variant
  3. Review quantities in the cart
  4. Hand the basket to checkout
How far can we take it?

A starting point

Catalogue browsing, product detail, variant selection and a persistent cart connected to the chosen commerce backend.

Additional work to consider

Bundles, trade pricing, complex search and compatibility between products require additional catalogue rules.

What can it connect to?
  • Product and collection data
  • Variant and availability records
  • Cart service
  • Hosted checkout

We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.

Does this include payment processing?

The cart passes the purchase to the agreed checkout provider. Payment processing, tax and order fulfilment remain defined responsibilities of that commerce system.

What if stock changes after an item is added?

Recheck availability at the relevant cart and checkout stages and explain any change. Adding an item should not imply a stock reservation unless the backend supports one.
