A clearer operating result.
Useful when the operation needs more than another tool.
- A small text change requires a developer.
- Editors like their current writing tool but the website needs a custom design.
- Content pasted into a page breaks its formatting.
What changes
- Editors update content in a familiar tool
- Layout stays consistent as copy changes
- Publication follows an agreed review step
The practical details.
What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.
How this foundation works.
- Edit structured source content
- Validate the required fields
- Preview the website rendering
- Publish or refresh approved changes
How far can we take it?
A starting point
One content source and a defined page type, with field mapping, preview and a documented publishing process.
Additional work to consider
Multiple languages, scheduled releases, editorial permissions and large migrations may call for a dedicated CMS.
What can it connect to?
- Google Docs or an agreed CMS
- Structured content fields
- Website page templates
- Preview and refresh workflow
We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.
Can Google Docs be the editing tool?
It can suit a bounded content model; Ceus's published Mreow work uses a Google Docs backend. More complex editorial review or media management may need a dedicated CMS.
Does every edit appear immediately?
Not necessarily. Agree whether changes publish automatically or after review, and how refresh failures are reported while the last valid content remains available.
