A clearer operating result.
Useful when the operation needs more than another tool.
- Staff copy the same customer or order into two systems.
- An update fails silently and records drift apart.
- No one knows which system owns a disputed value.
What changes
- Agreed fields transferred without re-entry
- Failed transfers visible to an owner
- Repeated events handled without duplicate records
The practical details.
What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.
How this foundation works.
- Receive a source change
- Map and validate the fields
- Update the destination
- Record success or queue a retry
How far can we take it?
A starting point
One source-to-destination flow with field mapping, a source-of-truth rule, duplicate handling and visible failures.
Additional work to consider
Two-way synchronisation, historical migration and several dependent platforms require conflict rules and recovery planning.
What can it connect to?
- Source and destination APIs
- Webhooks or scheduled imports
- Stable record identifiers
- Failure logs and notifications
We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.
What if a platform has no usable API?
Assess supported imports, exports or another authorised connection first. Integration scope cannot be confirmed until access and the required operations are verified.
What happens during an outage?
The flow should record the failure, retry appropriate errors and give staff a way to inspect unresolved items. Reprocessing must not create duplicate business records.
